EPL at the DiGiSect Workshop

EPL Technology Frontiers proudly participated in the recent DiGiSect Workshop, an international event focused on advancing digitalisation and sector coupling in energy systems across Europe.The second session recap from the recent DiGiSect Workshop focuses on one of the most pivotal topics in today’s energy systems: Flexibility for sector coupling.

Led by session chair Davood Babazadeh, the Flexibility session featured four distinguished speakers who addressed a range of critical topics, including demand-side flexibility, TSO-DSO coordination, dynamic grid fees, and urban transport electrification.

As part of the workshop’s second session, which centered on “Flexibility for Sector Coupling”, Dr. Venizelos Efthymiou, Director, PHAETHON University of Cyprus, delivered a keynote presentation on: “Large-scale Sustainable Electrification and the Value of Flexibility”.
