The Award honours doctoral work that demonstrates exceptional quality, originality, and relevance for the advancement of smart grids and the energy transition.

Their research addresses key challenges such as flexibility, resilience, cybersecurity, advanced control, and congestion management โ all crucial pillars for the evolution of future power systems.
The energy transition is powered not only by technologies and markets, but by people. And yesterday, we celebrated some of the brightest researchers contributing to this effort in Europe!
